As sheet films diversify and new functional resins are continuously being developed, it is possible to leverage the advantages of stack plate dies to accommodate various resin characteristics during the product development stage using the lines in this series. Additionally, it is possible to expand directly from the test equipment to the production equipment. We have numerous achievements with film/sheet molding equipment that uses T-dies. In particular, we have developed a unique thickness control method for T-dies. For films/sheets with a thickness of 0.5mm or less, a two-roll system is used, while for those with greater thickness, three or more rolls are utilized. Furthermore, our test lab is equipped with a film molding machine that can mold films approximately 250mm wide. It can be linked with single-screw extruders of Φ40 and Φ32, enabling a wide variety of film molding.
